RoboPond: The thing is its being done
publicly having worked in a shop
private discussions about a store or customers are done, and thats generally accepted and most likey done by GOG.
What GOG don't do and not accepeted in retail at all is talking about other stores or customers
publicly. Theres a massive difference.
It doesn't matter. Freedom of speech extends to public speech. At least where I live (US), it is absolutely permitted for me to take to a public stage and talk about someone else. Politicians talk about their political opponents frequently. People talk about other people on TV chat shows, in gossip mags. Comedians frequently mock politicians, other celebrities, etc.
Again: this is considered normal and acceptable behavior in free society. As long as it doesn't enter into
slander (i.e. making false accusations that can be damaging), which is a crime and can be punished (frankly, some of the accusations of Zoom being 'paid piracy' were sailing close to that line).
RoboPond: And it is my choice to not like Zoom yes, but I don't want me mentioned on Zoom's discord that I dislike Zoom. I don't use Discord and people on Discord saying ohh did you see RoboPond said this on this thread etc I don't want.
Well that's too bad, bud. In a free society, you don't get to control who can talk about you and how, in public or otherwise, since that would be violating their right to free speech.
RoboPond: How are you not seeing this?
I am seeing that you don't like it and I understand you point. However, I am making some counterpoints regarding aspects of free speech, which you seem to be missing.
RoboPond: So me saying on GOG's Fictional Discord, Time4Tea is a Zoom shrill and will say things to defend Zoom to know and and will just come up with some lame ass joke to pass the buck off is fine if you where not a member there?
I'm fine with other people talking about me, I don't have a problem with it. If I hear someone saying something I think is untrue, then I will step in and do my best to correct them. As for whether it's ok to call me a 'shill' depends on GOG's CoC and whether they have a rule against name-calling. Bear in mind that the rules for Zoom's Discord are not necessarily the same (and there is no reason they have to be).
But then,
if people are allowed to call me a shill on here, then by the same set of rules, it must be permitted for me to label them as fanboys ;-)
