Linko64: .... so I'll nod and hope you understand
Perhaps I do.
It's not just that the prices are a bit steep for an old game, where in many cases I have it on disc, so I am essentially re-buying for better modern Windows support, it's that many of them seem way over-priced anyway.
I am of course, willing to pay a bit extra for an old game I want but never had. Such was kind of the case with
REKKR: Sunken Land, and I could not find my copy of
Off-Road Redneck Racing, which was notoriously hard to get here back in the day, so I may have only had a copy (CD rip) ... or perhaps rented it to check out, because a rip is nowhere in evidence, and I generally keep good records etc. There was a good place that rented out games way back then, many of which you could simply not buy in AUS at that time. I certainly remember playing the game for a bit ... on a not very good PC.
