The Witcher franchise up to -85% • win games in the #SummerGaming contest • unlock Sunless Sea & RiME while you shop

UPDATE: It happened again! Another batch of lovely games has emerged from the sea, looking for new friends to spend some quality time with. Among them, the Worms series, Sheltered, Real Myst (grab it before it goes bye-bye), The Escapists, and more!

Also, new things are in store for #SummerGaming Week Two – E3 is still ongoing, but CD PROJEKT RED already shared their new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, so it’s time to celebrate. And what better way to do that than with an up to -85% sale on The Witcher franchise; meanwhile we're in that grimy futuristic mood so we've prepared a collection of our favorite games inspired by everything cyberpunk, cheap in the #SummerGaming Sale!

There's still plenty of time to unlock a free copy of Sunless Sea (spend just 5$ in the sale) and RiME (pick up 20$ worth of games). To help you with that, we've added even more games to the Sale lineup, including FAR: Lone Sails, Mages of Mystralia, Mainlining, and Commandos.
GOG Connect is still dispensing DRM-free editions of games to thousands of Steam users. You can also DRM-free your games when you visit GOG.com/connect, log in to your Steam account, and claim a DRM-free edition of your every eligible game.

Finally, you can help us spread the word: we're looking for awesome and creative ways to put gaming in your summer – childhood photos, a video from yesterday, stories, and everything in between. Join us on Twitter & Facebook starting on June 11 and share your #SummerGaming for numerous chances to win great games!

The #SummerGaming Sale will run through June 18, 10 PM UTC.
Thank you so much for Ziggurat Milkstones Studios and GOG team! <3

Linko90: I understand the frustration but I do not have the tools or power to simply turn a system off. I have passed on the concerns surrounding the rep & vote up/down systems. Additionally, I have discussed the systems and our user's feedback around them with staff. All I can ask for is patience.

drmike: Can't grant him (I think RWarehall is a he. See? There's no way to tell.) a couple hundred points?
The irony is that the forum software rejected my post even when it didn't contain any links at all. I didn't respond to a quote, so it wasn't an issue with tags. It just wouldn't let me post the list of games (similar to what I had posted in the spreadsheet thread), with or even without a"text" link to the spreadsheet. This happens often enough. It seems that if one's rep gets low enough, there are additional "spam" filters which seem to limit the size and/or number of posts one can make. If I waited an hour, I probably could have posted it. I run across this issue every so often when posting updates in both the Spreadsheet thread and sale specific threads. The posts were not identical - in fact I had added the specific discounts for this thread as i don't expect people to follow a link to my spreadsheet here. Sometimes it lets me, other times it doesn't. It had never been in issue until my rep was attacked like it has been.
wow, kinda a nice haul this sale, thanks for the freebies. i never would have bought ziggaraut but am looking forward to playing it, cheers
Thank you for Ziggurat! Very nice. :D

HeathGCF: Now I have the thought in my mind of tinyE and Fairfox both sounding like Barry White.
I quit 6 years ago. :P

I was born with a deep voice but the raspyness and the cough is long gone.
I love Ziggurat!!! Have it on my xbox and super happy to have it on here too! Thanks a lot gog! :D

RWarehall: Guess GoG won't let me post a list of the games added - due to all the forum jerks who have brought my rep down to a level where many of my posts bounce for no reason...thanks losers...
something like

docs . google . com/spreadsheets/d/1CF-oBHAEZE6T8zlLaIbQsdOWv_8tpV-QbDOhGsehX_Q/

might work. Obviously more annoying than being able to post a direct link though.

Thanks for the freebie! Having one of the few FPS on GOG.com as a giveaway is very nice :)
Thanks for the freebie, GOG and Milkstone Studios.

Sure thing, we have plenty of that!

Would you perhaps like it with a side order of Nas and Marley?
Thanks for yet another free game! No idea when I would play it though.

Except I couldn't post even without any links at all. Low rep sometimes prevents me from posting twice in different topics if the content is too similar and seems to lock me out for longer posts. I think it was tripped by the game's lists being too similar (since they are the same games) in both posts. Some people try to claim low rep isn't much of an inconvenience, but it is far more annoying than they realize.

If I'm only making one post, I don't even have to worry about spaces at all is I leave the http off.

During this sale a lot of people gave pluses to a lot of RWarehall comments appreciating his amazing job of analysing games discounts. And he's still underwater with his reputation, because someone is abusing your rep system. Can't you really solve the problem once and for all? You should be able to check in database what's behind his current RWarehall's rep...
...
Not all of RWarehall's posts are rainbows and sunshine. Quite contrary at times, and then beyond argumentative. Regardless, it has worked out anyway, posts are still possible, even when posting links. The reputation system hasn't prevented that, it's only a number (last I recall, I never see it, hidden with CSS).

Sounds more like that would affect anyone, as measure against cross-posting.

As for links, just quote the paragraph. Just like quoting a post, but use just the word "quote" within square brackets without any underscores or numbers. Last I heard, that works.

Funny how you single me out in that regard. There a quite a few other users who are argumentative and contrary with their 1000+ rep on this forum. Most people know I've been targeted by a bot as well as a quite a few vocal forum bullies, but then there are others on this forum like you which want to use my low rep against me because of personal grudges.

I just love how some of you think personal attacks on other users is justified...while complaining when I respond.

P.S. Despite the fiction about quoting within links, it doesn't often work. Sometimes it does, but usually it doesn't. A lot of people spread this bad information without first-hand knowledge.
