Hey guys,

I thought I'd play The Witcher 3 in Polish to really get the authentic experience so I downloaded the 3GB Polish language pack. After realising that I had no idea what the menus said I switched back to English to get a bearing of how to put English subtitles on or at least English menus and Polish audio.

To my dismay when I went to switch back to Polish, it started downloading the 3GB Polish files again. This was a rude shock and unexpected behaviour. Needless to say I didn't download them again for A) bandwidth consumption and B) I just wanted to play TW3 again!

So I guess my question is two fold:

1. Is there an easy way to have English text and menus with just Polish audio? And;

2. Directed at Galaxy devs: Can deletion of language files be a user-invoked decision, as it's very clearly a purposeful decision to get the addition files in the first place.

Thanks!

You should be able to change in settings,the game allows for 2 styles.
Thanks. I figured it would be the "text language" option but since it had to redownload the files I never got a chance to test it.

I'd still love to know if there's a way to get around having to redownload the files because it automatically deleted them!

Maybe your better off not using Galaxy until it's (way out) of beta.
DL with GogDownloader and manually add to game files.(if it's not an install file).

Sounds like some games on Steam. Horrible. I guess you can rename the folder so it doesn't get overwritten.
This behavior still happens in 2016 and it's utterly stupid.
I play my games in french when I can. Sometimes I need to switch the game to english because I need to check an Youtube (which are almost always in english) to have an hint. And BAM! you need to download again the language pack (+4 Go for Witcher 3) ...

2016 guys...
