Hello everyone,

As the title suggests, I own a hard copy of Witcher 3 GOTY Edition. I recently got a laptop that I use more often than my old PC, but I ran into a lil problem. On my old PC, I simply installed the game using the disks, and registered the game in GOG Galaxy via linking the executable file, all good. But the game is not registered in my GOG account, co I cannot play on my laptop since I have no CD ROM in it.

Is there a way to acquire a digital copy off of the hard copy, or anything like that? Beyond me wishing to play Witcher 3, I also want to claim the rewards that come with owning the game on GOG for Cyberpunk2077.

I would guess the easiest way is to go to your old computer and make a ISO of the DVD. There's a freaking ton of software out there to this end.

With a ISO, you can just transfer to the new pc via USB or Network (or maybe psychic powers?), open and voilá.
If your copy has CD key you can register that at gog.com/redeem
Yes, now IDK about the GOTY retail version, but the first edition retail had a GoG redeem code so just use that.
It seems GOG had a offer a few years ago that people who bought the game could claim it on GOG:
