No, that shouldn't be possible.
Everything is possible a ransomware can encrypt data so it can encrypt saves and cloud it's just a remote PC.
But since usually cloud means multiple PC with multiple backups for your data and good protections it should be fine.

Also you only got save data from cloud, that means that a not encrypted data was uploaded from your infected PC to the cloud... if it was infected it was probably cleaned by the server so you should be fine on your not infected PC.


Finally data only cannot propagate. There should be an executable to create a real infection. So you should be fine.

Every time I try to launch The witcher 3 wild hunt: Goty edition it keeps crashing and then my virus program pops up with a message that it stopped a virus. Any idea how to fix this?

Put the Witcher 3 .exe on your anti-virus' exemption list.
