I do not own the game, but on their support page: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025926714?product=gog it seems Windows 7 might have problems launching the game. The link posted has some instructions that might help your issue. If not, there are more articles on the right side for any additional problems.
(NOTE: When you are going to edit the registry, make sure to make a backup. To make a backup when you are in the registry, press:
1) File
2) Export
3) Make sure to select all, found on the bottom left
4) Select to save it as a regs file
5)Name the file whatever you would like, pick a place to save it and then press okay)
