After upgrading to 10 from your list I have played.

UT2004
Postal 2

Both worked. Can't complain when your computer skills are literally 0. Get a Mac.
UT04 will work when you use the 64bit executable from pcgamingwiki or change the renderer
Postal 2 works when you change the renderer.

Most games that had glitches under 8.1 have the same problems under 10. Most problems can be solved by using google-fu.

Baldur's Gate 2 - works, haven't tried it vanilla. Used patches and bugfixes and widescreen mods from gibberlings. Same with Arcanum, Planescape and Icewind Dale-s.
Fallout 2 - works, but i use killap restoration mod aswell
ToEE - works

For DivDivinity you need to use the same fix as for 8 and 8.1, changing the renderer.

Off the top of my head, for me at least these two didn't work (if someone else can test that these work fine for them in Win 10, by all means try):

Alone in the Dark The New Nightmare: Severe graphics problems (no textures), making the game unplayable. It might be these problems are already also in Windows 8.

Alien Shooter: The graphics flicker constantly. While in theory I could have played it, it would have caused me a headache.

There may have been some others I don't recall...

Carmageddon 2 failed to install too, but GOG is supposed to have fixed that now. Oh and Flatout wouldn't run due to its inert copy protection driver, but that should be fixed now as well. i recall someone from GOG staff mentioning they still had a couple of other games with a similar issue as Flatout, not sure if they've fixed them already.

My major complaint about windows 10 is that I cannot stretch games to full panel size. The AMD drivers always show it as maintain aspect ratio. Second major complaint, there are still a few stability quirks to work out like refusing to shutdown due to windows update.

The first might have to do with Intel drivers? I know I did have to fiddle with Intel drivers on my laptop (which is a Nvidia Optimus one) so check if there's anything related to that. As for the latter, that is indeed strange. For me, it just shuts down properly when I tell it to, update or not.

It works with games in general. Especially new ones. Old ones need some tweaking sometimes.

This is a shot in the dark: I recall somewhat similar problem with AMD drivers (not being able to change the aspect ratio setting, it was greyed out or something). If I recall right, the solution was to change to some other resolution first (a 4:3 resolution probably, like 1024x768 or such), and then the option to change the aspect ratio would magically appear.

Then again, I dislike the idea of stretching 4:3 images to 16:9. Why do you want to see fat characters, and circles that are oval? Games should be played in their correct aspect ratio, they deserve it.

So what if it leaves black bars on the sides on your screen? You can stick some nice looking stickers like flowers and butterflies on those black areas.

Nothing to me personally since I stopped using Windows as my primary OS after the support for WinXP ended and am a happy Linux gamer now, but when it comes to gaming and privacy and you can live with DRM, Windows 7 is the best and last acceptable Windows distro out there, I'd stay with it as long as possible not only because of the clearly superior compatibility with games but also because Windows10 is a nightmare when it comes to privacy. Even if you put a lot of work into not letting it send all possible data (including your unencoded eMails) to the data miner's cloud, the settings set themselves back with updates.
If you don't mind everything you do logged and sold to companies and governments and want to support this as the future for PC usage, you can go the Win10 way of course. For me it's the nail in the coffin of freedom and privacy on PC.
All this in addition to the inferior compatibility to games of course. Oddly enough, it's easier to make some old games run on Linux which I would have never believed if someone would have told me 10 years ago.

I finally figured out the problem last night. The new amd drivers are called Crimson, and include a section for creating custom resolutions. So I simply created a lower resolution (1600x1200, the res I use for most dosbox games) with the normal refresh rate for my monitor which is 75hz.
