Since I heard the gog team got rights to forgotten realms series, I was curious if they'll ever make a new one or remaster the older games like pool of radiance. It was my favorite series growing up and would love to see a newer version so generations to come can enjoy the same series I did growing up. I also read the forgotten realms books but that's another story.

Nope, GOG won't. But beamdog might charge you double for those, so get them whilst they are still reasonably priced!

As someone who never played any of the old DnD games, where would you suggest starting?

I have all the collections on my wishlist and I don't know what one to plunge into first.

Also, no idea if this will ever happen, though I would be more than willing fund/buy it if it did.
