Crewdroog: banned for thinking that was a long, drawn out post. in my opinion it is not. but really, what makes a post just a huge wall of text? at what point do you look at a post and go, "no, just stop no one cares"? One paragraph? ten? or is it not so much the paragraph, but that the walls of text are often not indented, leading to even more strife within the community? If one also adds poor grammar, lack of punctuation and shortened words (e.g. b4, srsly, etc), it is easy to see why such rants are received with vitriol.
Now i for one do not mind long, drawn out posts so long as they contain some semblance of cohesiveness and serve a purpose. However, if the wall of text is just the ihcoherent babblings of a angry forum user being "butthurt" over his lack of satisfaction from a service provider, then I will see the text wall as annoying and worthy of making such feelings known. Often though, this tends to not be seen as constructive criticism by the aformentioned poster, and will just result in either more ravings that make even less sense and enough expletives to make Andrew Dice Clay blush. Am I then at fault for the second batch of text wall? Yes, probably.
But this doesn't mean that every post about dissatisfaction is a flamming wall of text. On the contrary, many posts like these are well written and lay out succinct arguments in a carefully constructed manner which convey their grievances precisely.
(In crocodile dundee voice) Now THAT'S a long drawn out post.
Both of your are banned for making me laugh so hard that I nearly passed out...No, really!
