I really wanna look things up now that i've started Witcher 3 finally. Whys is there not a browser? I'm perplexed how GOG does some things better than Steam yet doesn't have a browser. Seriously, c'mon.

I can't alt tab out of Witcher 3 or else some kind of thin border shows up on the bottom, and my Windows start button shows, too. Super annoying. then I have to exit the game every time.

Galaxy hasn't been in development that long compared to Steam. Steam has been in development for over 10 years. So naturally Galaxy will be missing some things that one might expect from client. Galaxy is under active development, and GOG will probably have an announcement about the next major version of Galaxy (ie v1.3) soon.

Put it in borderless window mode, alt+tab.... and after checked the things in the browser put back into fullscreen mode.

In some games i can't do that because the minimizing thing close the game unexpectedly.

I know, 2 years has passed since you post this and still we don't have this.

This feature is truly important, i don't know why there is almost "no one" wishing for this

Just curious, but what's so pressing that you have to interrupt a gaming session to look things up online? Walkthroughs or something?

In almost every game i like to play on the hardest difficulty possible; i haven't done a speedrun yet but I do like to watch some speedrunners (or somekind of no damage similar stuff) that have done it and see how they did it in the most challenge mission, how they optimized for the minimun possible of time used in that mission or whatever, or in which way they aimed properly (in case of FPS), etc.

I miss this feature because if I would be doing a speedrun, I won't be able to do it.

And also if in some games i can minimize without problem, they start lagging after so many minimizing-maximizing thing.
