chadjenofsky: Babies inherently know that eyes are the windows to the soul. Once they claw them out, it'll be easier for them to devour your soul.

The eyes are the mirror of the soul. A baby uses instinct to "function" in its immediate environment, like identifying its mother and kin by smell and get fixated on the eyes. The eyes can "betray" your inner thoughts and disposition towards something, or someone, for someone keen enough to watch them closely, their movement and detail... Eyes are also of a mystical sense, drawing man's, an ever spiritual being's attention, throughout all stages of life. A man can "dominate" with eyes, a woman can seduce with eyes, your eyes can see through lots and lots of things and reveal unimaginable truths, hidden behind the most trivial of details. In a physical sense, too, a local saying goes: "Take care of the x or y matter/object, as if if were your own eyes". Eyes are of an immense value and significance, we must take care of them, guard them; they are precious. Eyes are the mirror of the soul.
Because babies focus on: taste, smell, touch and visual. The only part of other person they could *see* are their faces.
And only the mouth and the eyes are moving. And they are attracted by moving things.
They are well trained for battle.

jsidhu762: Hello everyone!

Back when my sister was a toddler, she would look at me and shout "mine glasses!". After that she would pull my glasses off of my face and try to claw my eyes out.

She grew up plenty since then, but now I have a nephew around the same age. He would yank off my glasses and try to scratch my eyes. His nails are very sharp. Sometimes he would catch me off guard and I would howl in pain. When this happens he laughs hysterically.

His teeth are sharp too. I know this because of multiple attempts to cannibalize my arm.
Are you sure they are not zombies? Do they sometimes say "braiiiinzzzz..."?

I'd be careful if I were you.
My daughter seems more interested in pulling off my ear lately. Perhaps they focus on different, painful, parts as they grow.

She does have terribly sharp talons though, and seems quite opposed to it when you attempt to blunt them in any way.

I guess some cats have eye days
Maybe they just like to hear you scream...

Nuke them from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
