I was playing Cyberpunk and I didn't have any problems. But just recently the game crashes every 5-7 minutes after starting the game, making it unplayable. I've tried updating the nvidia drivers, uptading windows, ending processes in task manager, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, running the game directly as an administrator but still the game crashes

This is not going to solve your problem and it definitely isn't what you want to hear, but... Have you tried starting a new game? Cyberpunk had a problem where save files got corrupted when they had a certain file size. Maybe what you're experiencing is a related problem and the game crashes because of the amount or a combination of information (things you carry/did) it's trying to handle. If a fresh character doesn't crash, this'd basically confirm that your save is half-broken.

Thanks for answering. I've plyaed for 25 hours even so it's a shame I will have to start a new game. Thanks

I'm not saying you HAVE to start a new game. It's just something I'd try (especially when it's a known bug that saves with a certain file size become corrupted) to see if a new game will crash as well. If the new save doesn't crash, but the old does, you know that something broke in that file. That's information that CDPR could use to fix that bug. If both games crash... well... then you're f*cked ;P

If you hit that bug, then depending on version your save wouldn't load at all, or it would get stuck in a black screen. That bug never manifested as "game loads but then starts randomly crashing."

But hasn't that issue (in regard to save games) been addressed with the latest patch?
(mind you: I don't own the game - I just read something about the patch addressing save games)

Yep, the issue was that saves larger than 8MB were truncated and thus incomplete. They removed that limit (on PC).

I know. That's why I said:

It's just something I'd try when there's a known bug that breaks your saves when they get too big. Mainly to exclude that it's related. Cyberpunk does have a lot of bugs, but an inevitable game crashing bug is something I haven't heard of yet. The only bug that comes close to that is the corrupted saves. Maybe LGJPintor hit the jackpot and ended up beeing that one poor dude with a half corrupted file. Just saying it's worth a try, to exclude that his bug is also related to the size of his save data.

Yes, they "fixed" it. But corrupted saves couldn't be saved. People with that bug had to start a new game.
