All I'd say is

Dishonored 2 = Denuvo
Watch Dogs 2 = Denuvo
Far Cry Primal = Denuvo
GTA V = Locked to a Rockstar Social Club account and "periodic" online DRM checking

(Far Cry 4 - Not sure what it uses, haven't checked that one)

So if you hate DRM / Anti-Tamper / anything that could lock you out of playing the game in the future, then I'd say that Saints Row iV is the best option.

Yeah... I hate DRM / Anti-Tamper, which is why I'm here :)

I dislike it as well, but it isn't a deal breaker for me. Which is why I bought DOOM and Mankind Divided. :) But thanks for the input anyway. As always, much appreciated.

-Dishonored 2
-Watch_Dogs 2
-Saint's Row IV
-Far Cry 4 (and Season Pass)
GTA5 is a masterpiece and well worth the money. One character, however, might be too much for some people. Online aspect apparently works, haven't tried that.

Dishonored 2 is, according to reviews a great game but it had some performance issues. Perhaps it's been patched, dunno. It's a direct continuation to Dishonored, so there's that.

Watch_Dogs 2 is said to be better than the first one and more humorous. It also got censored, which is why I won't be getting that. But apparently it's a good game.

SR4 is the best superhero simulator there is. Without spoiling much, you'll get your character boosted to a god-tier level where you can basically fly, run along building walls and more. Excellent game.

FC4 is pretty much re-skinned FC3. Good game.

For me this is part of what ruined IV for me. It was a good game, it was *great* seeing the crew from III again and going for even more crazy antics with them, but I loved going around the cities, finding different rides, customizing them and charging around town with them and honestly, in IV there's really no point to that, at all. After a short bit into the game you really don't need vehicles anymore.

As said before, I'd highly recommend picking up Saints Row the Third if you haven't played IV yet. It's not like it's a big downgrade from IV (at all) and it'll make your experience with IV that much better.

Definitely worth playing. When I think of some of the best moments in Mass Effect, like Shadow Broker DLC and Citadel DLC, those are moments where the team really feels like a very close bunch of friends with just brilliant interactions between them, and the first thing we used to compare it to was Saints Row.

I rather liked Prototype for open world sandbox superhero simulator. :D I went with SR IV (GotC) and GTA V.
Well; out of these games I don't know what to recommend, but I could recommend you Mad Max and Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration, if you haven't played them. They are excellent and great value for money, especially RotTR; as it has everything for 25 €; 50% discount now!

Oh, yes; and Mad Max is 6,79 € now; best buy for that amount of money! ;-)

Out of those 5 I've enjoyed the most SR4 and Far Cry 4. Aside from these two I'd also recommend EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair. It is pretty challenging and fun at the same time, a good choice for fans of an endless action with some strategic elements along with great coop mode.
GTA V for me, I absolutely loved the storyline and characters, I've played through the campaign twice so far.
It's easily in my imaginary Top 10 list of AAA titles, next to Red Dead and the like. I haven't touched the multiplayer.

Otherwise, I'd say Watch Dogs 2. The techy stealth stuff was great fun, I've never experienced the same kind of gameplay in any other game I've played, with the mini-robots and hacking. I also liked all of the characters. Sure the storyline is quite contradictiory under scrutiny, however, as with GTA this is not a game you should take too seriously.

The other games haven't intersted me so I don't know.

paladin181: What? The game is for me. She bought me the gift card.
Aaahhh i see.... I had the impression she got a gift card and you were going to buy/redeem games for her for some reason...

tinyE: GTA or Saints Row

If I was to get a gift from one of my children I would naturally want to spend it in a game that glorifies theft, murder, drug dealing, gang warfare, and prostitution. :P
And sometimes all in the same button press! Good times... good times. Not for the prostitute obviously...
I mean she's dead, of course. But otherwise good times... good times.
