GalCiv 2 ;-) Reminds me in many ways about Civ 3. Both I got tired of after merely two game rounds.

Oh, now something has changed in the results.
With 160 votes, goggers currently decided that:
Civ4>SMAC>2>3>5>Coloniz>1>(rest)
Finally, a proper Civ title is in the lead. :P
The poor Civ6 has only 2 votes, but it's also too new.

Never got into Civ 4. Among other things unit stacking is something I don't like. I suppose vanilla Civ 5 is worse but in its maximum state it takes the cake.
Haven't played the older once but I'm willing to bet they don't hold up as well. Love SMAC and it's close second after Civ 5 in the franchise but to be honest it's mostly the setting and atmosphere than the gameplay.
