Does the Canis Canem Edit do anything to improve the port? It's kind of a shit one.

Canis Canem Edit the game was named when it was released for consoles. The PC port which was released after years got the name Schoolarship Edition. This is what I know.

Intersting but hard to imagine. My impression is that gog is kind of like Rockstars anticrist with being DRM free and RS having no problems with (even embracing?) 3 DRMs (not sure if it really was in a past GTA 3 or just somebody being over the top).

Not sure if San Andreas or any of the earlier GTA games have any DRM on them at all or not, but GTA4 essentially has 4.

- Steam
- GFWL
- SecureROM
- Rockstar Social Club

It's a huge nightmare pain in the ass more often than not also.

Good god they can be thankful for their pain-immune army of fans! :D

I'd rather bet my money on the missing Saints Row titles. And considering above DRM feast I'd rather bet on Voilition coding a PC version as GOG exclusive of Saints Row 1 than RS offering any but maybe their oldest titles here.

Like many here in the forums, one part of my mind thinks strongly "There's no chance in hell that we'll ever see any Rockstar games here on GOG.com ever.", but another part of my mind thinks "We've said that about many publishers/developers and games in the past which are now here on GOG already, so never say never."

But if and when they ever manage to get even a single Rockstar title here it will be both a miracle and another one of those "milestone" days that are rare but welcome occurrences to say the least. :)
