Shadow Warrior should be online and playable in about 4 1/2 hours.

Someone wrote that Theme Park has problems running. You have to set exactly 10,000 cycles in DOSBox to run it correctly but when you switch resolutions or something, it will go too fast, or something like that. If you asked me, I would release it with 10,000 cycles, but you can imagine people storming customer support because the game is unplayable on their settings.

Theme Park World seems to be a dead end as well.

The release is already about 2 hrs late. I'm getting a bit pissed off: I made arrangements to be able to download the game this morning. I'm losing sleep and wasting time here, and if it doesn't come soon, I won't be able to download until next week. Not happy with GOG rt now.

I'd rather GOG just say they were transitioning away from classic games, if that is the reality, than being constantly breadcrumb'd along by hopes and hype of coming classics that just end up being 1 or 2 classics a month.

The estimate probably came from its Steam page, but it says 5 hours now. Don't blame GOG about Shadow Warrior.

Heh. I pre-ordered on gog because I thought the release would be earlier than Steam and I could play it before I went to work. They sure showed me. I blame Fork Parker.

FUCK! That's incredibly irritating. But thank you. GOG needs to have a countdown timer or display a specific release time (or at least an estimate). Later tonight, after I've cooled off a bit, I'm going to try to make to time to write them a hopefully-not-too-angry letter about it. I was excited and hoping to be able to play the game this weekend. Now I'll have to wait until next week. :(

Yeah, I can understand how frustrating it is to finally get some free time and then not be able to do what you had hoped during that time. Hopefully when you get to play it it will be as good as or better than you anticipated.

No, what i meant was: it's not really a remake or continuation of the gameplay we love from Shadow warrior (Like Rise of the Triad 2013 was) but more like a painkiller type game with a chinese setting ;)


Again nothing wrong with painkiller but don't expect classic shadow warrior with modern graphics.
