Happy Birthday, Good Old Games!
The store rekindled my dying embers of gaming love, back in 2009 when I joined. At that point I was mostly just playing again and again the stuff I already owned on disk, and had pretty much stopped buying anything about 2-3 years prior.. And I wishing there was an easy way to get some of the older stuff working again without having to make a dedicated DOS machine.
You managed to take care of both of those issues and now I'm back into gaming - for better and worse.
Without getting all sappy and shit, I'll just express my appreciation for two huge things gOg has done: DRM-free, and the restoration of lost classics. Those two alone are worth celebrating.
Congrats on your first ten years. Here's to another 10, and beyond!
Also, a big thanks to all of the developers and publishers who have embraced DRM-free.
