It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Zimerius: Gees.... Expecting people who can't navigate the launcher to deal with some excel tab, honestly, everyone in their right minds would have left it with Google or other browser search functions
It can be said to expect a certain level of competency when it comes to computers; especially of an enthusiast gaming website. Plus it helps that it's searchable, configurable, and compared to the default layouts, absurdly blazing fast.
It's so stupid that I have to google how to find games in GOG Galaxy. They could add a search bar on the first tab of the store. But apparently some ingenious marketer said that this can not be done.

Wow, that's crazy, I also stumbled upon this thread when looking for information about searching games from GOG Galaxy. I would even go as far as saying that the seach box should be on the initial view of GOG Galaxy, not needing to even go through menus to be able to perform one the most vital function of the system. The UI is clearly not thought through.
I had to google search it as well can't believe it doesnt even have a main search bar

Glad to find out I'm not crazy and that other people think hiding your search bar like this is ridiculous too. I ended up just buying the game I wanted off of Steam.
I opened my GOG account in 2009 and this is my first time every posting in a forum.

I had to do a Google search just to figure out how to find games with Galaxy. It blows my mind that this is still an issue after all these years.

I don't buy games regularly and I always forget where it's at and have to do a search each time. Smh

And to think, you could have typed the game name and GOG into the search engine and cut out the middle man.

So what's the answer? This is what came up when I googled it.

Aquaireeus: Where exactly is the search function in the Galaxy store?

I'm not a Galaxy user, but I would assume this is the answer you're looking for:

But why is the search bar not on the store page itself? What is the reason for such simple/expected thing?!

Because most of the website code is a miserable little pile of secrets that probably doesn't have a version control system.
Before integrations were abandoned and stopped working, GOG Galaxy was intended to be an all-in-one launcher that gathers your games from various platforms in one place. This, and perhaps GOG's partnership with the Epic Games Store, accounts for the search function bizarrely not putting GOG's own store front row and center.

All you need to do is expand the GOG Store section on the sidebar on the left, then click the All Games menu item there. This loads that section of the website, where you have a search bar in the top right and advanced filters on the left.

Confusingly, the Search option under the GOG Galaxy section is less useful for finding things in the store:
1. Expand the GOG Galaxy section in the sidebar on the left.
2. Click the Search menu item and enter the title of the game you're interested in.
3. If you click a game in the search results, this acts the same as the Show Game button. You're taken to a page with details about the game. If it's available on GOG, this is made clear on the right side, where you can click the View in Store button.
While that same button is also available in the aforementioned search results, you must use the arrow keys if you want to select something other than the first item there. It's awkward.

If you have suggestions for improvements, click the cogwheel in the top right, then choose Share Feedback.
