All well and good, but just because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean it isn't being worked on.

Now seriously:
I remember that someone asked the same question and the answer was that GOG and developers/publishers reach a common agreement to do giveaways, since at the end of the day its a way to invest in their product, even when some people couldn't see it in that light.
