Like...the year 2010? I AM DECADES BEHIND
About 100 games on Steam and over 600 on GOG.
Haven't saved/destroyed all of the worlds yet.
I keep switching around. I promised myself I'd finish up Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and then get on Deus Ex and Fallout, but I got caught up making sure Saints Row 2 didn't cough up blood on my PC and then I ended up playing a few levels of Blood.

Otherwise, well, not making too much good progress...

Mine is large enough to warrant a spreadsheet all because of a website called itch.io - so many games that I acquired either free or through big bundles:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sbYtmxQA3jOUYptwJi_1blD2L3hXXLIi/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112882206293283405691&rtpof=true&sd=true

The status column is the one that applies to a game's backlog status:

- Playing: what I'm actually playing

- NEW: recently downloaded & not backed up yet

- Installed: current batch of installed games; which starts at ~60 games

- DELETED: marked to be deleted from backup drive due to not liking, seizure graphics, incompatible with my color-blindness, gave me motion sickness, etc -- only applies to stuff I got free or as part of big bundles because everything else gets researched for potential issues before purchase

- Completed: game I played enough to feel done for now, doesn't have to be 100% completed

- Anything without a status is languishing in the backlog

I'm going to be resetting the installed batch again Friday or Saturday when I acquire some things from the current sale.
I plan to finish my backlog in 2525. That is, if man is still alive...

good song! well played :-)
I think I'm somewhere in the middle of the stone age.
Nowhere, since I don't really believe in backlog. More often than not I like to play games through several times and roleplay as much as I can along the way. I do keep some loose notes about my playthroughs though, like difficulty (I don't believe in difficulty-changing in the middle of a playthrough either), installed mods and month in which I finished said playthrough. Not to mention that many games I enjoy can't really be beaten, like Banished and Project Zomboid, or encourage several playthroughs, like Terraria, Witcher and Elder Scrolls games.

Also, did I mention mods? How could I ever "beat" Skyrim or Morrowind when there are basically infinite customization options for those games through mods.

My problem actually is quite different. I love starting out and I often start games several times before I get to the point where I'm satisfied with my initial choices. Obviously it happens more often in RPGs, where those choices actually matter. I must have started Skyrim and Oblivion more than a hundred times each now.

Nice one. :-)
I have...465 games in my catalogue, of which I'm pretty sure that was a smaller number before.

You might have to finish the rest in the afterlife.
My dumb ass keeps buying games when there are tons I have that I haven't even tried yet.

I do this all the time.
