Why, what are you frightened of?

Sarcasm!, I guess. :P

my name is catte: Why won't GOG give me an option to filter out all games that have [specific content] in them?
Yes, why won't they? If such a possibillity existed, it could bring an end to the endless cycle of recurring and fruitless debates and verbal assaults. Since it wouldn't affect GOG and other customers in any way, shape or form, there is no reason not to offer personalized tags and/or a not-interested button temporarily or permanently hide items.

Actually it's something we've been wanting for a long time, the website has been in need for an overhaul for ages now. It hasn't change at all since the site was first setup.

Well, we have a lot of this here in this thread, right?
Manly man doing manly things ... filtering out "cute" to be safe that everything is manly enough, vote for cats, I am afraid of trees and pudding and I don't like their lifestyle ... this thread is comedy central :D

Breja: making, I guess, every game in which your character can walk a "walking simulator".
DOOM - the walking sim to relax and think :)

True!, and it made ME chuckle too... :D

Catventurer: Unfortunately, the Cats tag is super unreliable as there many more games that feature cats. Sometimes it's something small such as how the Neverwinter Nights premium module Tyrants of the Moonsea has a cat just hanging out in a building that you can miss interacting with, but then there's Godhood where you can have your followers show their devotion to you by worshiping cats.

Breja: Even Tales of the Neon Sea, where you actually play as a cat for portions of the game, doesn't have the tag. It is, however, bafflingly tagged as a "walking simulator" (it's in fact a more or less typical 2D point & click), making, I guess, every game in which your character can walk a "walking simulator".
I didn't realize that GOG even had that game because Tales of the Neon Sea is technically has more cat going on than While True Learn, so I forgot that it's even here.

Once I put a bigger dent in the backlog, I really should make a thread about secret cats in games on GOG.

Changes come slow and not necessarily to the extent needed. One example is the option to display/hide DLC for games in our personal librariers. A small change with a positive impact on the shopping experience. The forum should be replaced with the one CDPR runs on its site, they should also implement requested features, because this is in their very own best interest. One can only hope that they will further change and improve shop and forum, based on results of their customer-survey, or based on feedback and discussions on the forum. As long as it benefits all customers and doesn't cost the world it should be done.

They should also implement a block button and police the forums less... a lot less.
While we're at it, can I have a filter for the sanitary towel section of my local supermarket. As a male who doesn't like to think about people bleeding I would prefer not to see things that remind me of the fact that some people are continually haemorrhaging for 14 years of their lives. Weirdos.
I would like a filter to hide all owned items, which GOG's broken bundle system forgot to mark as owned.
