Its been a while since I've used GOG Galaxy, but I don't remember this happening before. It doesn't always happen right when I open the program, but sooner or later -usually within minutes- my webcam lights up like its in use. As soon as I close GOG Galaxy (exit from the taskbar) it shuts back down. This has been going on for a couple weeks now.

I have a Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, with the Logitech Webcam Software installed and am running Windows 10 Pro. While I haven't done any real digging around, I haven't been able to find any mention of this issue with my searches.

Anybody else have this issue or any idea what may be causing it?

lol. Thanks for the helpful and informative reply that's not creepy at all :D

Seriously though... It really is slightly unnerving. I have my webcam covered with a folded 3x5 card right now, lol.

They know when you rub one out.
Scary O_o
I have a built in camera on my laptop and have never seen this, so can't say I've had this issue unless it was a result of a very very recent update.
Maybe GOG are starting up some kind of spycam porn website on the side?
I don't use galaxy. I'm guessing it's some sort of USB polling looking for controllers?

So there was an ulterior motive behind the releases of Lula and HuniePop, after all...
Disclaimer: I have zero idea how exactly Galaxy beta works. So consider this mad ramblings and sweeping speculations if you wish.

Perhaps the overlay (which may or may not work) tries to enable a certain device on your PC. It may be looking for a microphone, and enables your webcam because the driver is not properly shelved. You may want to reinstal the driver to check if that elbows it out of it. Also, check if it actually sends any feed or if it's only on standby. That might give some more clues. Logitech has some superbly iffy driver compatibility sometimes, not helped by the fact that you use the new Windows.

I'd put my money on this though.
well you can install the latest Wireshark sniff your USB traffic and watch what happens on Galaxy Load up ^_^
Contact Support or stop fidgeting around in the chair and sit still,so I don't have to adjust it (webcam) all the time:)

It's that pigeon dating simulator that really got results though.
I'd remove webcam if I were you..
Open the pod bay doors, GOG.
