And this is why I never use cloud saving. Other than that, Origin has always worked better than Steam for me, but then again I didn't use it nearly as much...

Okay stop right there, I have to know something. Is nap just a substitute word you’re using for sleep, or did you wake up from like an 8 hour sleep, have breakfast, and say ‘you know what would really top this off? A good nap!’ The saved game doesn't show up.

Yeah, Origin cloud saving tends to screw up.

Meh, she only lost +/- 5h from a plataform game, real pain is losing + 10h of Far Cry 2 (yes, with the stupid collect diamonds system) due to a glitch. Later they patch it but the save was gone forever...

Cloud saves/local saves is "super confusing".......

I lost 20+ hour of gameplay TWICE while playing Batman: Arkham Asylum because I forgot to make offline GFWL account. :/

Since I woke up 3 times during the night, I lacked some sleep and even a liter of coffee wouldn't have resolved that so I went back to sleep after a lenghty breakfast. Thta's the kind of perk you get from working at home :o)

So Origins cloud saves works differently than Steams? Steam just syncs the locally saved game, as far as I understand. Origin only works on the cloud saved version? if so, then yes, that's a bit silly.

I'm beating the two of you with the lost of my 60hours savegame on Dark Souls 1 (and I didn't even had finished the game at that point...)
The thing that's more infuriating is that in this example, she lost her save but her gamecard still shows her achievement and her playtime so I don't know how they coded their save system at EA but it looks totally broken (normally, she should also have lost her playtime and achievements if everything was tied)

hmm.. no, I dont think so. Game time and achievements unlocked are separate from game saves, so it makes sense to me if game saves got messed up, then those can still be fine. Game time and achievements are external meta-data in relation to the game, save games are integrated into the game.

Oh alright, for a minute there I thought you were vowing to live up to the cat lifestyle.
