I use a pair of V-Moda M-100 headphones on my work laptop.
My gaming laptop has a Creative X-Fi Surround 5.1 which is connected via RCA to a Lepai 2020A mini amp and a pair of old JBL L40 bookshelf speakers. I also use a pair of cheap (but surprisingly good) Behringer HPX2000 headphones on that system.
My HTPC laptop has a Sound Blaster X-Fi HD which is connected via S/PDIF (TOSLINK to coax) to an old Sony STR-DE575 receiver and Sony 5.1 speaker system (centre SS-CN109, towers SS-AV44, satellites SS-SR9, subwoofer SA-WM20).
My living room/guest laptop uses its built-in 5.1 speakers (yeah, it's an oddity which also features an 18.4" display).
The two spare laptops use their crappy stereo speakers, but mostly sit around collecting dust.
I also have a pair of Sennheiser IE 60 earbuds that I use with my MP3 player.
