Not strictly today, but yesterday is close enough. Though it has a story that started nowhere near yesterday.
Several months ago, I read by Cory Doctorow, in which the main character describes cold-brew coffee. Since then, I've had a slight fascination with the idea and been wanting to try it, though there's one problem - I do not drink coffee. A couple weeks ago I had the idea that maybe this works for tea as well (not that I'm a pioneer in this - or even thought I was - far from it, but it was a new idea to me), so I started looking for information, and though coffee is far more popular than tea in this annoying country I'm born and live in (annoying primarily for this reason) I eventually found a Swedish retailer selling [url=http://www.hario.co.jp/shop/images/box/FIB-75-OG_1.jpg]this bottle - intended for cold-brewing tea, its top is easily removable and has a sieve for filtering out the tea leaves. I promptly ordered it, it arrived a couple days ago, and I picked it up yesterday.
I still have rose-tinted "new-and-shiny" glasses regarding this thing, but it's great and makes me happy.
Thank you, Cory, for nudging me in that direction.
