HereForTheBeer: found the process for sticking the relevant drivers into the installation process. Installing Win7 now.

New gotta figure out how to install the drivers into Win7 itself. Back to my search!
Not sure what you mean, if you've slipstreamed the drivers into the install disc/image, they're already installed?

haha, well, yeah. But no. Didn't slipstream the driver into the data that it installs, but only into the drivers that load when running setup.exe. In other words, the USB drivers were available during setup but they didn't get installed for when it boots Win7 normally. So now I'm going back and doing that. Will have to reinstall from the beginning but it didn't take very long.

One of those cases where Universal Serial Bus isn't quite universal.

I've just added up how many cartons of soft drink I have, it totals to over 700 cans and I have another 120 being delivered.

I guesstimate that at approx. 4-10 cans of consumption a week, I will have enough to last me about 2 years.

I have all different flavours; cola, orange, creaming soda, lemonade and lemon.

This makes me happy, extremely happy.

Whoever invented the plugs should be tortured, worst design ever.

It will make your dentist really happy too, for sure ;) What does creaming soda taste like?

It's generally vanilla pop for the most part, or perhaps vanilla and quinine.
Figured out the problem I was having, trying to slipstream those drivers into the Win7 installation thumb drive. Sort of figured out. I don't KNOW why I was having problems on the laptop but it worked on a different PC. Either way, it finally worked.

So I rewarded myself with a new joystick and throttle setup:

Pre-order (yeah, yeah) but I've read almost completely positive reviews of the original T.16000 - and Thrustmaster in general - so I took the chance. Will be nice to finally play flight games again, once the thing ships in <gulp> November.

I know why, because laptops suck.
He he he... Today is a special day. Today, i am paying a visit, in person, to a den of "snakes", part of the people who set me up and sold me out! My good karma had in their destiny, to have had partnership with a corrupt educational organisation before (quite big and famous around here, too), being deep in shit currently, for both huge tax evasion and fraud, plus ties with corrupt people (ex students, current students, or graduates of some of their schools) selling illegal services out there in the most literal of sense. They have changed brand name, that be true, but i want to inspect their shitty facility and services in person! Identifying lingering ties between them and aforementioned org, if i am able to pull such a pile of priceless gold, will most probably enable me to throw even more oil into their endless, recent fire of legal troubles, he he...

How times are changing... The innocent man who was baptized a criminal vermin and lost his life, is now watching all the rats swim in dirt and shit, changing their rat holes suddenly, in hopes of escaping the sewer stench! I am happy. Now to do my part and my job...

Cheers, doesn't sound half bad.

It's not really vanilla, it's hard to describe, more like a strawberry lemonade.

Oh, this makes me think of when I was a kid, just enjoying all the soft drinks and candy I could get my hands on, not thinking twice about it. If all these weren't so sugary, I'd order them by the case like you, really.

I just remembered this piece about that one soda emporium I watched a while ago, I figure you'd enjoy it too maybe:
