Buenro-games: a dream
I take it was a pleasant one? Usually night terrors don't entice someone to posting about it in the 'what made you happy today?' thread. Though, I'm all for hearing about those too. Those are usually the really funny ones.
I rebuilt my hardcore necro in almost no time. Thankfully, new gamers literally out of nowhere popped up in Diablo 2 LOD battlenet. Games full with 8 players and sorceresses enchanting everyone, equals to quick carnage. Oh, the XP! Oh, the loot! Very live and merry, for a game 15 years old! And guess what, we were even discussing in good old battlenet chat, about how hard diablo 3 sucks and how soft its expansion blows... Oh, the laughs and lols... Wa ha ha he he hi hi hi!

Guess i now must be quick to Alt + F4 at the slightest hint/suspicion of Lag, though!

I learned how to fly like Superman.

My hope is that by saying that and believing it, I will actually do it.
It's tough to keep up with QuickBooks stuff while on the road, so the 2-week trip created a pretty good backlog. Managed to blaze through it today, and my balances all reconcile! So, uh, woohoo!

Simple thing, but I dread an unbalanced register during end-of-month account reconciliation.

If the phones can stay quiet the next couple days, gonna try to make up for lost time on the Parts side of things.
I did not sleep well because I have an appointment with an ophthalmologist today regarding a possible glaucoma issue. The happy part is I went outside to see i if I'll need a jacket and found out I got a delivery of a package I was not expecting for 2 weeks yet.

The second happy part is that an analog ammeter I had ordered only to find out afterward it was AC instead of DC (I did not pay attention during the purchase), well it turned out to be DC after all.
Apparently, I am now playing 1st Clarinet (rather than 2nd) in one of the groups I play in. That should be interesting.
I drop my kid off at kindergarten, and lots of people I don't even know greet me by name. And today, the principal talked to me about the things I draw in his lunchbox. I'm happy to see that they're paying close attention.

I have concerns that both school (and especially parents) seem to have really low expectations for children. Still, the school seems really switched on. Maybe it won't be a problem.
Doritoes are still making the Spicy kind of chips.

I thought they stopped since I didn't see em at any stores for about 8 months.
Denner/Shermann's Satan's Tomb!
My football team has a 14% chance to make it to the postseason after today's loss. That means I can stop caring whether they win or lose football games, and start debating on if I want them to lose for better draft picks.
Today at the bus station, a random stranger child standing on her own, probably not even 4 years old, reached out for my hand. Surprised, when I gave it to her, she used my help to navigate down a step in front of her. Then she ran off.

Seems quite illogical for such a short and (in the wider sense) unimportant act, but nothing like it to boost a person's self-worth :D.

Yeah well you really know how to draw :) Was it part of your job at some stage or is it simply a hobby? Ever done any big projects? I'd love to try and attempt a big 40K-ish battle scene one day, if I can only somehow get my painting up to par :P
