From a company with a hell of a text parser flexibility, unmatched at that time. I actually never played this version with graphics but I guess it would be too boring with only the text ...

One of my all-time favourite adventure games.

Yep, it's a good one all right. I remember replaying the beginning part again and again, it just blew my mind. The rest of the game wasn't as hot (too many mazes, too weird puzzles), but the feeling of "realism" offered by the first few hours of Zak felt really amazing at the time.
