Leroux: Not sure if this is too obscure, it's not even on Mobygames but who knows, maybe someone recognizes it. Was shareware back in the DOS days, nowadays it's freeware.

Yep. Strictly speaking the screenshot is from Gargoyle Mania, the third game in the pack but I accept that as a correct answer. :)

I used to think it was cool as a kid but when I tried it with DOSBox now it was pretty lame. Not sure if my default DOSBox settings slowed it down or if it's always been this way. Ah, nostalgia, what a strange animal. :D

You are of course correct, unfortunately Sierra games are so iconic that it's impossible to find a decent mysterious screenshot :P
