kalirion: Looks like Oni. I liked that game, though never got good at fighting so relied on only a few moves/combos.
And we have a Winner. I liked that game too back in 2000.

Correct, your turn!

I've only played a few levels. IIRC every level is basically one huge open space where you'll be mobbed by enemies and hope that your life and ammo both hold out until they're all dead. I personally prefer more structured shooters.
