Monokuma, is that you?
I mean, pre-evolved version...before he gets monochrome and really nasty :)

short explanation just in case: Monokuma is the antagonist from Danganronpa games series. His forte is manipulation and making people killing each other his objective. Isn't he just sweet?

Wow, the premise of that game series is quite grim, isn't it?

"[...]a sadistic remote-controlled teddy bear by the name of Monokuma announces that the students will be forced to live in the school forever, offering only one way to graduate: murder another student and get away with it.[...]"

If that's what it is: insta-uninstall ;)
The giveaway is closed now. Please give me a bit to figure out the two winners.

chevkoch: Let's have eight more hours for entries from now on :) Thus, I'll close the giveaway at 8 pm EST (UTC/GMT -5 hours, that's New York time, for instance). Will be glad to see more people participating :)
Thanks chevkoch. :)

Sigh... I guess I underestimated how much time I would spend stuffing myself with stuffed turkey (which begs the question 'Who's stuffing who?'), doing the dishes, drinking port wine and all that jazz... :/

No matter, I might as well post my unfinished entry.

----

Once fully upgraded Theodore 'GOGBear' Fourofourski has the following 5 skills:

Bear Necessities – Teddy needs some lovin’! Bear hugs all around! The entire party is healed (by a moderate amount).

Perplexity (Passive skill) – Whenever you have exactly 8 units on the battlefield (Teddy included) and, by the end of your turn, the party formation is 4-0-4 this quirky tactic bewilders 2 (randomly chosen) low-level enemy units who consequently skip their next turn.

Fluffy Kerfuffle – Teddy utilizes the wicked potential of his cutesy demeanour to mime such strong insults at a selected enemy unit that it’s worked up into a frenzy of blind rage and immediately attacks its closest ally.

Atlas Bear Shrugged – Teddy removes 1 single negative effect that has befallen your entire party and is subsequently immobilized for 1 turn.

Build-A-Beer – Teddy amicably offers a selected enemy unit a pawcrafted pint of beery poison which, due to the excessive amount of flowery vomitus caused by downing it, severely weakens the unit for 3 consecutive turns. This skill can only be used once per battle (and has a chance to fail when used against high-level enemy units).

Excellent turnout, thanks so much for your creative ideas. It wasn't easy to come up with a shortlist that was actually short and then whittle that down to our first winner. Lots of great unit/character descriptions I liked. Well done everyone.

In the end, I chose VeTrack's contribution inspired by the Care Bears franchise (which I had to read up about) as winner #1. Funny idea that I found nicely integrated into Eador's overall structure the way it was described, plus it fit with GOG Bear's appearance on top.

Then, I placed all remaining entries carefully into the random.org maelstrom and out popped our second winner: LootHunter.

Congratulations VeTrack and LootHunter! I will be sending you the game codes via chat now.

Thank you all for having a little fun with this, appreciate it. Wishing you a sweet holiday period :)

Too bad you couldn't make the deadline, this is brilliant :D The 4-0-4 party formation peril, haha! And the Atlas Bear Shrugged skill: classic Theodore ;)

Aww, thanks mate. :)

Anyway, I really enjoyed (not) participating as I absolutely love your GOG bear-themed giveaways - they are so much fun and never fail to get our creative juices flowing. :)

Congratulations to VeTrack and LootHunter! :)

But, but... what about the satisfaction when you win?
On more serious note, Danganronpa is like a mix of visual novel mystery detective game with class trials as a pinnacle of action and emotion of it. Granted it's somehow a dark one. I do hope you didn't get much discouraged by what I've told you or what you have read because it is a good game IMHO.
You can see more about it in translated demo here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nt4PZZwlrq4

Anyway, thanks for the giveaway... me and my luck *sigh*

Sorry you had to read up on it. If I knew, I would have explained more about them or inserted a link.

Anyway, I'm thinking of sending the code to someone else who wants to play it or you can just pick another winner from the entries? Due to various reasons, I'm not in the mood and might not even have the time to play it during this holiday period. Let me know your decision.

Thank you for the link, it's a unique concept and genre - haven't played something like that before. But I can see how it can be interesting, if you like detective mystery/court trial setups. Thanks for introducing that to me. And as for your luck, just be in next time again :)

I don't mind researching things, so no worries. I'd rather have jokes or stories not explained :)

It's your code, so if you know someone who'd like to have the game - feel free to send it on. Alternatively, I could pick another creative idea from the entries and award the code to that person. But it's your choice, all fine with me.

I think it's best if you pick another winner. I have a very bad day and I need to go sleep it off...
