That wasn't a joke. :P I've been checking the obits. Guy has had my new PC for three weeks now. I've never turned it on because of a problem it should have taken him an hour to fix.

He just called. Turns out he actually is dying, but he's not there yet. Finished the install. He's going to run a smoke test and do some tweeking tonight and barring a blizzard tomorrow, which we actually are expecting, I might be able to pick it up.
Got gifted Elder Scrolls Online : Morrowind so I'm checking that out at the moment. Seems pretty cool so far. Doesn't play much like an mmo at all, but it is clear that some of morrowind's mechanics suffered translation to the mmo scene. For one, crafting materials appear to be much rarer. No more, at least from what I've seen, can you just walk into the wilderness and harvest plants anywhere and everywhere you look.
Elex. Started playing it a few nights ago and am now pretty hooked on it. Set aside Torment:Tides of Numenera to play this one, as TToN just wasn't grabbing my attention.
I've been running through the tutorials on Skullgirls. Man, fighting games have gotten really damn complicated over the years. I haven't paid much attention to the genre since the mid-90s, so I might have to stick to the children's mode when I start playing the campaigns :)

I think you should take into account that ESO Morrowind is set a long time before Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind. It's before Vvardenfell became barren and full of ash and there was more in the way of vegetation and plants. So whilst i'm sure there is an alterior motive (to make gathering resources easier for crafters) it is actually lore friendly.
Baldur[s Gate Classic, giving it another spin, should be hacking at the backlog but why not.
Run thru with just two, FTR/Mage/Thief build with imoen for company.
To the person who asked me about the game play of DQ 11.
I am very sorry to be so late to respond.

Metal slimes are veru hard to get but not impossible. It is still true to turn based play as it first debuted. I am really enjoying the game. I have already beaten the main plot. I am now doing the second run of it. Sometime in 2018 the English version is rumored to be ready.
Well, I was really digging Diablo III for the first time but got distracted with COD WWII. Yeah, forgive me. lol It's OK. Story is alright but the characters are a little forgettable. Multiplayer is just OK as well. And I have played every COD since 2. I feel the maps need work. Keep getting players spawning in front of me and killing me or easily getting behind us since its only 6 V 6 and not enough players to plug all the holes. Also seems the connection compensation is off. I have fiber and keep getting insta shot when I dont think I should be. And its not saltyness or not being experianced with twitch shooters. Dunno, maybe give it some time.

Going to be going on vacation this coming week and will take the Switch with me. So, time to catch up on splatoon and that Rayman/mario game. No Oddesy yet, but will when I get time.

Oh, and when I have lunch at work I play my GOG games I recently bought, Men of War and Kings Bounty.

Great news! I can't wait for play at least the 3ds version.

That was me.

I'd still like to know about the character customization (or lack thereof) and the growth system. (Also, do you create your party, or is your party (like in DQ3 or DQ9) or does your party consist of characters you meet along the way (like every other DQ game, except 1 for obvious reasons)?)
I recently installed Disciples: Sacred Lands Gold and have been playing it on and off. I last played the demo nearly 15 years ago, and it's every bit as tricky as I remember it being. Unfortunately, while I welcome that challenge, I'm experiencing the well-known freezing bug that other GOG'ers have complained about. It's a regrettable annoyance, but I can think of worse games to come with that problem.

On a brighter note, I installed Startopia yesterday and it's been working like a charm. Playing with a laptop trackpad will take some getting used to, but I won't grumble so long as the program runs without any hitches. Man, it's so wonderful to be playing this again. Bullfrog made some excellent games.
