dtgreene: I see Steam keys as having *negative* value (hence Steam + DRM-free > DRM-free).

ET3D: That was clear from the first post. I probably failed to convey that I don't just consider value when buying. Giving to devs/charity has nothing to do with value.

Although I imagine that you just frame that in this particular way. It's not that Steam keys have negative value (which is rather silly), but that you want to support GOG for what it stands for, and prefer not to buy at stores which support a DRM model, even if they also support DRM-free. That would make sense, unlike 'Steam keys have negative value'.
For me they have "negative value" (to me the value seems in part dependent on available bandwidth the user has) Steam as a system was never one that sat well with me & as such I haven't bought a steam dependent game since Amazon suckered me in 2010 with my still only steamed game
Heavy discount (70% or more)
Should be with all DLC released and included.
Must be a game I liked in the past or want to play.
I try to avoid games from the genres: Action, Shooter, Beat'em'up and Platformers.
I can forfeit above rules if it's a really cheap bundle.
1. Don't buy games from GOG, because they don't have any principles left.
2. Don't buy Uplay Games.
3. Buy anything that seems good and where the price is right (for me personally).
