It's frustrating to find a good thread ounce it already has 40 pages as I never have the patience to go back and read them. Anyway I am currently rereading some of my favorite series again so will list them and my favorite authors. Anybody who wants to chat about them can pm me.

*DAVID EDDINGS* - Belgariad/Mallorean & Elenium/Tamuli series + Reginas Song & The Losers.
MERCEDES LACKEY - Heralds of Valdemar & Tales of the 500 Kingdoms series
TERRY GOODKIND - Sword of Truth series + xtra's
JACQUELINE CAREY - Kushiels & Naamah, plus loved the Santa Olivia/Saints Astray series
J.D. ROBB - In Death Series, aka Nora Roberts
ROBERT JORDAN - Wheel of Time series
SWORD & SORCERESS series, anthologies published with the help of Marion Zimmer Bradley.

I listed these in mostly the order I like them although it does vary depending on whom I am reading at the time lol. Also David Eddings, I owe my love of books to him for reeling me in with the very first book of his I read, Castle of Wizardry. Funny story that I actually picked up the book because I was playing Wizardry V: Heart of the Maelstrom, which I actually ended up not finishing lol.
I just recently finished "Mort," by Terry Pratchett, and am now wrapping up "Pulphead," a solid and interesting book of essays by John Jeremiah Sullivan.
Currently: "The Essays of Warren Buffett : Lessons for Corporate America" It's a book with excerpts from the essays he writes in Berkshire's annual reports.
Current: Tales of the White Wolf by various authors
Previous: Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
In the middle of Lord Of Light by Roger Zelazny.

Zelazny was a great storyteller but only a so-so writer, if that makes any sense.

HereForTheBeer: The Good War: An Oral History of World War II, by Studs Terkel.
What a cool name...Hello, I'm Studs
Not in your lifetime.

A look into the assassination of JFK, it examines the evidence from the Warren and Assassination enquiry's and uses supplemental documentary evidence to query the results of those enquiries.
Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut
Finished reading The Cronicler by Alfred E. Van Vogt. Meh, 3/5
Two books for audio designers/engineers. One of them contains a lot of hardcore physics shit that I'm never gonna need but it really isn't good for my self-esteem that many of these things are just beyond me, at least for now.
I'm reading a couple of newer cozies and the Omnivore's Dilemma
