Deals up to 80% off, GOG-premieres, and new bundles every six hours

UPDATE: The city gates have been closed and all districts have grown silent. Thank you for making Bundleopolis great, citizens, and enjoy your amazing souvenirs!

Come on, come all! Walk the streets of GOG.com and take in the sights as we build a Bundleopolis of 20+ bundles from the ground up. Join us in a week-long tour where new landmarks, shaped as irresistible bundles, are going to be revealed every six hours with some of them containing fresh GOG-premieres.

Attend the opening ceremony and visit these locations for the first of many bundles:

- Academy of LucasArts, including classics like The Dig, Monkey Island SE 1 & 2 and Outlaws for up to 75% off.
- Bit.Trip Street, a complete collection of the rhythmic series making its GOG.com debut for up to 87% off.
- Nightmare Avenue, build your own bundle from a scary selection of games like Amnesia, Outlast, and The Last Door for up to 80% off.

Keep coming back to the expanding Bundleopolis Sale to discover new sights and new releases, or exercise your rights as a citizen with build-your-own bundles. If you live here long enough, you might even get to learn its dark secret, which will be revealed just before the city lights go out.
Want to keep some mementos from your visit to Bundleopolis or send out some postcards? Head this way for some breathtaking wallpapers.

The Bundleopolis Sale will end Sunday, May 1st, at 9:59 PM UTC.

Luned: Care to clarify if it's a stacking bundle sale (old bundles will remain while new ones are added every six hours), or a rotating bundle sale (all or some bundles will swap out every six hours)? The statement isn't absolutely clear which it is.
It's the former. New ones are added every six hours, and nothing will go away.

timmy010: Dear GOG,

does that mean i should/could wait till the end of the week and then buy any bundle i want? i'm just concerned i may buy a bundle because of a game or two but then a better bundle with the same games comes along which i would have rather got instead.

i hope there are insane fps bundle, tomb raider, trine. :-)

edit - what happens if you own some games already? do you have to rebuy them for the big discounts to be applied?
Dear Timmy,

1. yep, there is no rush BUT there will be no overlap between bundles

2. weeeeellllll

3. these are completion bundles -- so your previous purchases will count towards the higher discounts :)

yyahoo: IMHO, this is a million times better than Insomnia (I guess, in truth, it is actually the complete opposite of insomnia in nearly every way). Muchas gracias, GOG!!
Our pleasure!

llamas: Just want to add that this is a great sale format so far. I like that things get added every six hours and getting new games during the sale makes it much more exciting. It's going to be a fun week. I hope for some nice surprises and to get rid of a few titles from my wishlist.

Thanks again GOG, this year has been really good so far.
Thank YOU!

wolfsrain: Why the frag do i see euro pricing, when my setting is on the US dollar?!
Are seeing the Euro despite setting your currency to the dollar or are you seeing the USD equivalent of Euro prices?

JudasIscariot: Are seeing the Euro despite setting your currency to the dollar or are you seeing the USD equivalent of Euro prices?

wolfsrain: My currency is set to US dollar. Seeing all the prices in Euro (well, X bundle shows for me 10.16 euro - as an example)
OK, then please make a screenshot and post about it here:

HunchBluntley: It has come to my attention that you are giving out free konrads. May I have one? I will take extra-good care of it....
Of course, they are free after all!

Please fill out the following forms, to make sure your DRM-Free Konrad is delivered on time!
avatar
HunchBluntley: Mecharma's forum title is #FREEKONRAD. Naturally, I took that to mean she was giving away konrad(s). ; )
A well played joke, I might add!

Also, I'm totally a "he"...

Marioface5: Warning to everyone that Fistful of Gun is currently outdated. It looks like the missing updates have only been out on Steam for about a week at most, but on GOG it's hard to tell if this is just a late update or something we won't see for months, if ever.
Fixed.

ZaineH: Any blues around to fix the Flying Bullets bundle?
On it!

Apologies guys!

op2017: Will there be a weekend promo?
A bunch more Bundleopolis bundles are coming up today, but no standard weekend sale. Next week's promo is not that far, far away though. ;)

memolano: Does anyone know what is the name of the game that they are using the image for the bundeopolis? The one with a spaceship that looks like a shark flying around a city. Thanks.
avatar
mrkgnao: I may be wrong, but I don't think it's from a game. GOG has its own artists to create graphics. I believe it was custom-made for the sale.
Yup!

EasyGamer: Hello GoG,

Can you tell me if you'll add more bundles and/or deals until almost the end of this sale? Or, is Dying Light the last one?

Thank you.
This is the final form of Bundleopolis :)

What was the secret?
Dying Light :)

omega64: It really is proper fucked to use a region locked game as a "secret".
avatar
MBiL_248: I don't dare to contradict you in that matter. :)

But our brave Judas, that good old thievious bastard, does its best to comfort the poor discriminated people of Germany with many additional German versions of games without region locks, so I'm mild-mannered at the moment. You do so Judas, don't you? ;)
Hmmmm :P
