40-75% off Toren, Long Live the Queen, The Marvelous Miss Take, and Anna's Quest.

All the single ladies, all the single ladies. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. If you liked it then you should have put a discount on it. So we did. We put a discount on it. Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a set of four fantastic titles featuring some of the strongest, most captivating female protagonists from 40-75% off.

Time flies in Toren, an experimental puzzle-adventure. Moonlight is the chosen child, the one destined to unlock the mysteries of a dangerous, ancient tower. She sets off on an adventure against all odds, but as she climbs the tower they both begin to change, and grow older... You'll accompany Moonlight on her greatest adventure, and stay by her side until the very end.
Long Live the Queen! May her life be easy, may she see nothing but peace! As if. A Queen's life can be complicated, particularly when she's fourteen. Long Live the Queen is an exceptionally challenging interactive novel in which you'll help guide the young princess to her rightful place on the throne. But peril awaits at every corner, and most of it leads to a gruesome death. Only the strongest, most intelligent will survive this courtly intrigue.
The Marvelous Miss Take will snatch your wits away, plus your wallet, and your valuable portraits. Quick wits and even quicker reflexes are a must in the title that turns stealth gameplay on its head. Wandering guards determine their paths on the fly, cameras keep constant watch over everything, and should you get caught - escape is your only option. But you can handle all that, easy peasy.
Not all children's stories are for kids. Anna's Quest is the troubled story of a psychic child locked in an evil witch's lair. She must be strong, courageous, and cunning to escape her prison and find a cure for her sickly grandfather. With great animation, voice acting and puzzle design (and a talking teddy bear), there's no reason not to dive into this unusual world.

Weekly Staff Picks: All the Single Ladies is a collection of four titles with four fantastic female protagonists up to 75% off. The promo will last until Thursday, October 15, 9:59 AM GMT.

The advertising in the top-right of the homepage is incorrect in specifying a 50-75% level of discount, when in fact it is 40-75% (Anna's Quest has a 40% off discount)

BTW, thanks for promo!

Edit: and now is corrected ;)

pimpmonkey2382.313: There are single ladies here?

Senteria: There are none, and if there were I don't see a reason for any of them raising their hand and getting bombarded by messages afterwards :P
Wait, are YOU a single lady? Guys, I've spotted her! PMs incoming! ;)

Maybe the title, but not the games. Possibly apart from Long Live The Queen, they look like games about independent women or girls who aren't looking for a significant other, but have different quests to solve.

Anyway, nice promo. The 40-50% discount is enough for me to remove Toren and Anna's Quest from my wishlist. :)

I don't want to spoil the party so I'll go
I would hate my disappointment to show
There's nothing for me here so I will disappear
If she turns up while I'm gone please let me know
Maybe they should have called it

"Ladies of Gaming - Indie Edition" Promo
I would love to see another single lady: Cate Archer! :-)

Hah, nah, my picture is misleading. Seems someone did a terrific photoshopping job though.
Not directly related to this promo, but I recently started playing Gray Matter, and ( so far ) I really like the female lead character ( and the game itself seems to be good as well ).

Nah, it's the case for LLtQ too. It's just that the quest is "Stay alive for 1 year and don't lead the kingdom to its ruin."
You can end up engaged if you look for a political alliance, but that's a very secondary point of the game. It's really not a romance game.

Yep, I know that, that's why I think the "single ladies" thing is puzzling. I guess it must be a reference to a song or a movie but all in all it doesn't reflect the promoted games well. But well, it's just nitpicking as usual :o)

Russonc: or Mother's day... Still, worth a look.
If they'd be doing a promo for Mother's or Father's day, which country would they align with for the date? Whichever they choose, most -- if not all -- of the rest of the world would be confused.

It is a reference to a song, if you can even call that shitstain on the bedsheet of music a song.
