Well played.

You know, 35 years is a pretty long time. But when you've spent most of that in the company of cult classics like Earthworm Jim, MDK, Sacrifice, or Toonstruck, it feels like they breezed right by. Today, Interplay, the fellas behind these reinvigorating masterpieces, are having a grand 35th Anniversary Sale and you are more than welcome to join in. Almost everything is 66% off, with Star Trek games going for 30% off.

Descent, the series that made 360o first person action a thing, are front and center (also up and down) in this collection. Intense dogfights and non-stop thrills make for some of the most enjoyable time you can have inside a cockpit.

Criminally overlooked in its time, Toonstruck is every bit as hilarious, inventive and downright fun as the point & click classics of that era. Its wacky humor, cartoon visuals and stellar voice-acting hold up amazingly well, too.

The Interplay 35th Anniversary Sale ends May 7th, 10pm UTC.
Are you guys aware that the "games you own" thing and checking your library on the website does not work anymore?
Lol how are these losers still alive?

OldOldGamer: Thanks for confirming prices are going up, sales down.
Another thumb down to GOG, I m afraid.
GOG doesn't have a say to this; they just sell these games, they don't get to decide their price or their discount. ;)
I've wanted Descent 1 & 2 for a long time - missed them when they were removed, and now, I'm just not willing to pay the current sale price that equals more than the original full price.

I'm really glad that I bought most of the Interplay games before the new owner has raised the prices.
They increased the prices and lowered the discounts instead of doing the opposite. :P

Littleguy: Are we getting anymore of the old Interplay, Star Trek titles?

fronzelneekburm: Yeah, that would be neat. There's a bunch of cool Interplay stuff still missing. I'm craving for a rerelease of Neuromancer.
Same here, a few gems are still missing in my collection from Interplay's catalogue.
One day I will click on that "select all" button when it's Interplay sale. Most of them are "digital backups" for me anyway.

Btw.: Would be nice if the awesome Shattered Steel soundtrack was included as bonus in handy mp3 format....

Definitely, I would bet, that if Interplay games reduced their current price 50% percent, many people would buy missing pieces to their library. (Including me...)

Kadlin: I'm not buying anything from Interplay anymore after they raised all their prices from 5.99 to 9.99. [...]

I'm glad I bought Interplay games that interested me way back before the price hike. What you are now calling "discounts" is almost worse than what the base price used to be. Shame on you, GOG ... what'll come next, you'll start writing "nigerian price" emails?
Is this the anniversary that Interplay sales go live the 35th time? It sure felt like a 100 times already :)
Oh look... it's this sale again.

Again, it's the publisher who decides about the prices, not GOG.
Yes, publisher decides about prices, but sales are the same over and over again.

No changes or surprises.
What about GOG injecting some PM value in all this?
Proposing simething new to publishers?
New formats? Something different?
