McAllen: No more buyingg from GOG - there are NO sport games except for a few titles,and wishlists are created for nothing .The sales packs are JOKES and cash grabs with repeating titles ,sometimes often put with insulting prices .GOG you took a wrong way

tfishell: few sports games because legal reasons prevent re-releases of sports games, similar to racing games, and AAA publishers like EA won't put their brand-new sports games on GOG. go buy elsewhere if you really want sports games.
Eh but that is contradictory. You can't say buy elsewhere and then claim publishers can't release games. I don't know who's fault it is and don't agree with how he said it but he does have a point.

Not really.

Sports games such as FIFA, NBA, etc along with racing games such as Need for Speed, F1, etc quite often have licensed Teams or Cars in.

When a game like FIFA 20 gets released a contract between the games developers and the teams is made to use their players, branding, logo etc in game. As time goes on this contract eventually expires, when that happens the developer can either renew this contract (resulting in them having to spend more money) or do nothing. If they opt to do nothing then the game cannot be sold anymore, if they renew then the game remains on sale.

You're missing the point. If it can be sold on Steam it can be sold on GOG. I don't know if it's publishers not wanting to sell on here (some of them do sell other games on here) or if it's GOG with their infamous curation but you can't just tell someone to buy it somewhere else and then contradictory claim licensing is an issue.

And yeah, you people can low rate this all you want. Seems to be the pass time around here when someone doesn't agree with a comment. Just shows the character.

If it's on Steam maybe it has a shot coming here, that's fair. I was thinking in terms of old sports/racing games and EA's new sports games (unlikely to come to GOG). Obviously I was annoyed at McAllen. ;) But he has a right to his opinion, but maybe this isn't really the best thread for it, he should make a whole new thread for that subject.
