Which games are keeping you company this weekend?

You must stay hidden.
The shadows are your most loyal friends: always there when you need them, always eager to consume your enemies on your behalf. Silence is your cruel mistress: caring and protective when you keep on her good side, deadly and vindictive when you disrespect her.
But what of your enemies? They are the ones who'll teach you, help you learn from your mistakes, and only succumb when you're finally ready to outsmart and outmanoeuvre them.
For in the best stealth games, the greatest challenge is to be patient, plan your every move, and wait for the right moment to strike. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is one such game, according to RockPaperShotgun, Kotaku, NZGamer, and pretty much everyone else.
Do you guys have any other personal favorites, when it comes to sneaky games? Let's hear them!

Surely you've got some gaming planned for this weekend, too. Perhaps you picked up some cool game(s) during our Monstrous Winter Sale that you're looking forward to firing up. Or are you still browsing, trying to make up your mind on what to get before all these sweet deals go away? Go on, share your Weekend Playlist with us. It can include single-player games, multiplayer games, console exclusives, anything - we are not judging. In fact, we are sharing too!

So, amiGOGs, what are you playing this weekend?

ciemnogrodzianin: EA RPG - with classic Ultima and LoL series - is one of the best bundles I've seen here for a really long time.
Those Kyrandia games sure are top-notch RPGs. ;)

I went a bit mental snapping up the juicy deals, but this weekend it's all about:

-TW3 GOTY
-Grim Dawn
-Victor Vran

Best Stealth game? I would have to say MGS. Best one on GOG? Probably one of the titles in the Thief series. Anybody playing the above? If so add me and we'll get some MP going up in this b*tch.
Witcher 3. Finally started Hearts of Stone. :)
Dishonored 2 all the way for me this weekend. Incidentally, a pretty fine stealth game.

As soon as I'm done with it, I'm looking forward to trying Tyranny. Heard really good things about it, recently.
I'm going to spend some more time with Final Fantasy XIII (PC Steam version); I'm liking it more than I expected to, based on some of the reviews it got, although I certainly wouldn't deny it has its problems.

I'll probably finish Layers of Fear (GOG) tonight or tomorrow night. I can't say I'm really feeling it--it plays like a circus haunted house, with no pacing to speak of--but its short enough that I don't mind finishing it.

I have a few other games installed, but I think mostly those two.
I've started The Witcher. One huge RPG every second week is going to kill me. Went through the tutorial-y part. The combat is even ickier than I remember, but having read the books recently, it's fun to see it all in a game. Oh, and thumbs up for Polish. Vidžmini, vidžmini everywhere :)

Playing the (now freeware) Tribes Vengeance. It's the only (PC) Tribes game with a SP campaign. Although it's basically just a bunch of bot matches with some cutscenes in-between, it's still enjoyable. Definitely not what I'd normally expect from Irrational / Ken Levine.

Just started Shadow Warrior Redux. Even though GOG has seen fit not to supply us with a Linux version, it works flawlessly under WINE. There's one little niggle, though: I think it's comparatively easier to the classic version. Perhaps it's just that the mouse aiming works better.
After finished Ultima 4-6 recently.I started Ultima 7.
I solved Trinsic and Paws's quests, and met Lord British and Batlin in Britain.
I joined in the Fellowship, which is quite dubious cult. but I want to know the truth of the organization.
Now my party is going to go on Minoc. but I can't have enough money to buy foods and training...as with other Ultima series, early game's economy is tough.

Also I'm playing Distant Worlds Universe from time to time.
Just started one star system as Human in pre-warp era, The game is quite difficult to understanding the game rule especially design ships/bases.
I set all rules to manual playing because I'd heard that is the best way to understanding the rules.

As for the best stealth games, I choice Tenchu series in PS1 era, ninjas are king of stealth.: )
What, no mention of Escape from Butcher Bay?
When I take a break from studying from Linux final exam, I'll be playing:

The Long Dark

Don't know that I've played many stealth games. I recall a bit of stealth for Alias Underground and for the game, Alias, because most of the time you were the spy, Sydney Bristow.
Probably more co-op Dead Island.

As for best stealth game, Shadow Tactics reminded me of how much I enjoyed the first couple of Commandos games, and then was further reminded of how fantastic Hidden & Dangerous was.
Now I want to imagine IO Interactive making a WW2 stealth/spy/disguise kinda thing.
Inquisitor, one of the cheapest games on GOG (after Divine and Beyond Divinity) is a rough game.
Still don't understand why you can't get any offensive (and healing, and light, and reviving) spell before level 15, so much hassle without them it's unbelieveble.

Managed to burn 2 heretics (one is VIP of Act1, if he didn't run away and fought with me it would be hard to get him jailed).
And started Act2 but quests pop outs like moles and I'm exhausted after mines+orc caves massive dungeon I'm gonna get a break.
Tracto cum ea

Other ones are mere preparation - Diablo - The Hell got screenshotted stash (played all 6 classess at once for better finance) because managing it is a hassle at this situation. Hundreds of magical items while window can show only 4....

Making characters for Temple of Elemental Evil+Circle of Eight+Temple+ but I rather drop that one, not enough time.
Like many others, after playing the demo of Shadow Tactics I could not pass up the opportunity to purchase the full game; so, it's going into my Weekend Playlist for certain. Besides that, I've been slowly but surely playing through Pharaonic, which has been fantastic so far.

As for stealth games, my favorite is and shall always be the Metal Gear Solid series; even if I think the first three Splinter Cell as well as the first two Thief games did "stealth" better, in terms of... everything else, MGS3 and V are simply the best games in existence, bar none. Honorary mention goes to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood however, since it's one of the few stealth games which replaced "hiding in shadows" for "hiding in plain sight", and did such an incredible job at it; only other I know of is the Hitman series, which I've never liked much.
This weekend I'll be playing Inside (which I'm sure I'll finish) and Risen 3 (which is gonna take quite a while longer).

As for stealth games, I prefer it when stealth is just one option to get through a game, rather than a requirement. In Deus Ex, Hitman: Codename 47, Dex, Boiling Point, Commandos: Strike Force, and even Strife, I'd try to 'ghost' my way through those games. Then for another play-through, I could always blaze through like it was an action movie. :-)
Shadow Warrior 2013

"Everybody dead. I like that." - nuff said
On my PC, playing The Lion King and Shadow Warrior Classic Redux. Bought The Lion King during the winter sale, before it went on sale at 15% off. Not too disappointed as the XP gave me Shadow Warrior Classic Redux, which was on my wishlist, so it felt like I bought one game and got the other free. So I'm planning to play both of these.

On my Wii U, Disney Infinity has me hooked again. Just playing around in worlds I created. I might play Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games or Splatoon if I'm in the mood to, but Infinity is a definite.
