It would be awesome to be able to see a list of all our soundtracks and easily select them. We could have options to make them look like Vinyl, cassette, CD, etc. I would love to see all my music in the form of vinyl on a shelf. (and from a business standpoint it would encourage people to keep adding to their collection).
GOG needs to add the ability to actually play or sample a soundtrack before purchase as well instead of us having to look for it on youtube or bandcamp first....
Among other visibility features, browsing the wallpapers to peruse them before downloading them.
In the community wishlist, you might want to add your vote to this request:

Though if that doesn't fit what you want, you might post a wish of your own:

I'm not sure if it's worthwhile to do much about something that is in the end only a bonus feature for games.

Then again, I have always wondered why GOG doesn't sell music. At least game soundtracks as stand-alone products would be just as good, and much better, idea as "movies for gamers".

I'm sure there are lots of albums which aren't official soundtracks, but would interest many gamers. Like everything that "Press Play On Tape" has ever recorded, to give an example.

Exactly, and because they don't I rarely bother to get a soundtrack that isn't included with the game, whereas I might otherwise. I'm certainly not gonna traipse all over youTube finding soundtracks.

Perhaps they don't, because way too many are crap and they would sell less if people didn't take a gamble.

Filtering is a great idea too, but GOG are not known for finishing features properly, let alone adding new ones.

DEVS or music artist should really provide a video clip, that features short segments of the songs, maybe along with game artwork or development photos.
I have a library tag called "soundtracks & music samples". Works well enough for me. :)

Yep, good idea ... just hope GOG never do something to wipe our tags ... accidentally or deliberate.
There are two ways music is found on GOG: extra content and standalone DLC.

I think for extra content it's fine how it currently is, behind the extras section, while I agree with another poster that for standalone DLC it would be better to have previews of the music on the store page.

Never been a fan of Steam's separate library for soundtracks but at least with Steam's new UI they link to the soundtrack from the game's library item to tie them together more cohesively.
