I am wondering why do they keep spamming this forum.

Their posts are nothing but pure gibberish, I doubt that they are making any profits off of this spam.

Dunno, maybe Gabe got pissed off by gog and is sending his Indian warlock army to suppress the glorious DRM free revolution named GOG.

It's a bot dude :P it target hundreds of forums and blogs but maybe you are right, we should go to steam and spam there till gabe releases HL3 for once and for all :P plus we can spam about DRM free

The thing about spam in the digital age is that it costs nothing to produce. Hence the best tactic is to just get it out there as much as possible, and if just one person in the world falls for it, you've turned a profit.

Maybe GOG could find out which telephone company owns that damned telephone number he wants people to call, and then complain to them.

Yes, I was kind of hoping we would ;-)

The thing is, there's no hope of tracing the real person behind the bot, but an actual telephone number has to be managed by an actual phone company, and they have to know whose number it is.

Why not set a filter on the number and certain amount of random characters in general.
Or change it to be able to post after buying atleast 1 game.
