HunchBluntley: You know, if this is now going to be the all-purpose, semi-official Spamwatch HQ for these forums, one of the blues could, perhaps, change the thread title to something less...histrionic. Every time I see this thread pop up with new posts, I think, "Oh, no, not again..." . Perhaps people could suggest some ideas for a potential new name? Just an idea.
The only way the thread title could be changed would be if the thread creator requested it. Thus, if he doesn't want it, then it can't be changed.

Ah, yeah, didn't think of that. This thread's just kind of taken on a life of its own, and has become so much of a "community thread" that I forgot about that little hitch. Is JKHSawyer even active in the forums these days? EDIT: Nevermind, he is. Found some recent posts (and more evidence of how useless the search function is, as if that were needed).

EDIT: Still, it couldn't hurt to kick around some ideas for a potential new title, and see what he thinks. Alternatively, of course, a fresh thread could be created, or Ciris' thread could become the One Thread (and that would have the benefit of having been created by a Blue).
Of course, I might be overthinking this. Maybe I'm the only one annoyed when I see an unread post in "WE ARE UNDER ATTACK" and it turns out to be nothing to do with a new spam wave.

Wow, i just got hit with a phishing scam/spam and it's horrible to look at :P I'll share it here...

I'm sorry, but this is the wrong thread to ask such questions. This is all about spam fighting and idle chatter.
Maybe create a new topic or ask Barefoot_Monkey if he would like to include a function like this in his Essentials.
