I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of this here yet. After a lenghty hiatus from the PC-gaming world, Warren Spector will be involved in making PC games again. Not only that but he'll be working on System Shock 3! Things are looking up for this sequel.

While I'm trying to keep my optimism in check, this is still some exciting news. :)

Wow...

I hope I get a shot at playing this. I hope he still "has it" but this is certainly a mic dropping thread right here!

How far out does it look like it is? Just getting started I'm guessing from the lack of any prior news.
Great news!
This could get big. Definitely a development i will be following closely,
How's this news? His involvement in Underworld Ascendant has been known since the game was on Kickstarter one year ago.

And besides, I wouldn't put too much hope in his name anymore. His last studio failed because, let's face it, the games weren't good. Epic Mickey was a huge disappointment. If a game is poorly designed, then it's poorly designed, regardless of the platform it was designed for. Hopefully he can prove me wrong with SS3, but I'm not counting on it.
Yup read it from this article this morning:

HOpe they won't shit down the gameplay to accomodate for console kids and gamepad fags

I wonder if he's related to Phil.
