The ultimate Warhammer series festival has arrived: it’s time for Warhammer Skulls 2024!

That’s right! Straight from Warhammer, it’s finally here again – the annual celebration of one of the most iconic and influential universes of all time. Being incredibly proud to be a part of it, we thought it’d only be appropriate to prepare an absolute feast for all Warhammer fans. And here it is, overflowing with goodness – you can now unleash chaos, forge alliances, and conquer realms with deals up to 90% off, and secure ultimate power with two GOG exclusive bundles!

Now, let’s take a closer look, shall we?

One of the gems of this year is Warhammer RPG Bundle, available only during the Skulls 2024 event on GOG. The Bundle contains three iconic titles of the series: Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Deluxe Edition, Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition and Mordheim: City of the Damned. You’re in for a treat – not only saving an additional 5% in comparison to buying the games separately, but also, most of all, signing up for the ultimate RPG experience.

In Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, you begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, travelling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. It’s the newest instalment of the series – and available in such an intriguing bundle, and at such price. You wouldn’t want to miss it!

Another highlight you won’t be able to resist is a Warhammer Strategy Bundle. That’s right, also time limited, available only on GOG! With this set, you’ll get a total of 4 incredible games: Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon, Warhammer 40,000: Sanctus Reach and Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. Thanks to the Bundle you’ll be able to save an additional 29% in comparison to buying the titles separately; now, that’s what we call strategy!

Naturally, Warhammer Skulls celebrates all the amazing video games based in the Warhammer universe – so outside the captivating bundles, we’ve also prepared a variety of great bargains for you to discover! Check out deals such as:

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (-30%)
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 - Complete Edition (-63%)
Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition (-90%)
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector - T'au (-15%)
Necromunda: Hired Gun (-75%)
Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior (-80%)

You thought that’s all? Of course not! Throughout the event duration you can also claim the Warhammer Skulls 2024 Digital Goodie Pack on GIVEAWAY – containing a whole bunch of Warhammer-themed digital goodness.

And as if one giveaway of goodies wasn't enough... We have another one! Grab your copy of Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War – for free, throughout the event duration!

Warhammer Skulls 2024 ends on May 30th, 4 PM UTC. Immerse yourself in a universe brimming with imagination, strategy, and sheer epicness, and expect more awesome things to come – For the Emperor!

Ueber: It is not only this, but also a very good TBS. Just don't expect a civ clone, but rather a TBS with the feel of an RTS (very fast pace and uncomplicated but tactical battles).

As someone who owns all DLCs, I can also tell, that you won't need any of them to have a lot of fun with the game. The DLCs are just for more variety and units (some of them very cool), but do not contain core features of the main gain (like Paradox games).

mrkgnao: Does the game have a campaign? Some reviews complain it doesn't; other mention it does.

P.S. Not at home, so cannot check myself.
No campaign of any sort. The missions mentioned are not connected there are 10 of them and are mostly collect x resources, send this unit to that tile etc. 2 of them will drop quite large powerful armies in your territory and can ruin your game if you're not careful. They are also a victory condition, so complete all 10 and you win. I find the game better with them disabled tbh.

Also agree this is not a civ clone but would describe more like a mod for one of them (which it kind of is)

Still a lot of fun and hopefully you should get your moneys worth:)

mk47at: Is there a single DLC that you think is nice to own?
The faction DLCs are very good in terms of quality (each faction plays very different and there is a diverse selection of them). So if you are interested in a certain playstyle, choose factions depending on their focus.

If you are fine with the four main factions, you should buy the unit DLCs, as they are expanding all of your factions (depending on the unit pack) and further enhance the existing gameplay with new units for every side.

Regarding Factions DLCs my suggestion would be (in this order):

Tyrannids (swarm/hive based, against Astra Militarum you can recreate Starship Troopers)
Tau (combat formations gives them bonuses, leading to a very unique tactical approach)
Adeptus Mechanicus (specialised units and an economic focus)

Regarding Unit Packs I would suggest (in no particular order):
Fortification (Defense Units)
Assault (Offense Units)
Reinforcement (Mixed Units)

Fortification, Assault and Reinforcements are cheap and expand on each of the four main faction (base game), so they are the best options. Specialist and Firepower are Heavy/Special Units are also very nice, but do not include every base game faction.

Lord of the Skulls is a funny gimmick, as it is a huge, overpowered agressive unit, which spawns ranomly and creates chaos as it attacks everyone.
OK, so it just added Gladius Relics of War to my library without me claiming it. I clicked on the store page link, it said "in library" so I figured I must have picked it up at some earlier point and forgot about it. But then I got an email about free items added and indeed it's new in my library. I would have claimed it anyway, but still. (And who knows, if it works in Wine I might even play it someday. :) )
Game looks fun, thanks for the giveaway.
Thank you Warhammer Skulls 2024!!

Thank you
Gladius is a great game, but it's pretty much a clone of their first game, Pandora: First Contact, Gold Edition. In terms of gameplay and graphics, I definitely suggest at least getting all-faction DLC with the game. Like Ueber said, the gameplay feels a little like RTS thanks to faster gameplay and no diplomacy. There is only war!

I claimed the free goodies pack earlier in the day and now i've come back to claim the game giveaway but it already gives me the successfully claimed message. The game doesn't appear in my games list, though. Will it show up at some point, or do i have to contact someone about it? Did i just miss it cause i claimed the free goodies but the game giveaway wasn't active at the time?

Sorry, i didn't see the other pages of the thread (white text on gray background is a bit hard for me to see). Those posts helped. Thank you!
that Warhammer RPG bundle is insane value. shame i already have the games.
I love the new bundles offered by GOG.
But I wish they would offer for those who already own some of the bundle a discount for the still missing game as those bundles punish the old customers and just reward the new ones.

I hope in time they can adapt the concept like we know from Steam bundles to allow to purchase a bundle just for the still missing games in one's library to have a chance to profit from those special bundle offer as well.

But I am not holding my breath as it would require a more precise tracking of what is actually owned and what not. I still have games in my library which are listed on the store site as NOT owned. know the challenge of such cases because of different versions of a game. But this problem exists now for many years and got never fixed satisfyingly.

Still, please make it happen one day, GOG. We believe in you.

How does it work if you already own one of them? I have Mordheim already, so will it get deducted?
Thanks GOG, for Relics. Appreciate it.
