We'd like to inform you that on December 11th, 11am UTC, Wargame: European Escalation will be delisted from our catalog due to ownership changes.

Those who already own the game, or will purchase it before its removal, will still be able to access it through their GOG Library.
Sad. Had hoped the sequels would show up here one day.
Hey, why did I not wishlist or buy this good looking game yet? Ah, weak single-player, excellent muti-player, so that is why.

Hopefully this will return sooner than some other games.

Because single player _is_ weak, and multiplayer became totally redundant after Airland Battle shipped.
Still i hope the rights are falling back to Eugen Systems and they will put it back up again.
Awww... :(

I have strong nostalgic feelings for this game. Not because I ever played it or anything. But because it was the first game that seriously clogged up the very first insomnia sale. It has been dwarfed by Jack Keane 2 shortly afterwards in an incident that would go down in gog history books as The Keaning. But Wargame: European Escalation did it first.
Damn, I really hoped that we would see Wargame Airland Battle and Red Dragon here. But it seems its not to be. Other Eugen System games aren't here also so at this point the removal is understandable.
Thanks for the heads up.
