Hi everyone...my first question on this forum.

I recently purchased the game Vikings: Wolves of Midgard (which is awesome btw) but no user manual or game guide. Why is this? Can anyone help?

The same for Grim Dawn... nothing.

Thanks in advance

Hello, algonkin.

Grim Dawn doesn't have a PDF manual. Instead, it only has an online game guide, which you can find here:
http://www.grimdawn.com/game.php

As for Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, try seeing first if the manual can be located in the game's installation folder. If it's not there, you can find it here:

These are generally sold as DLC now, all the old goodies like soundtrack, artwork and such like, only appear if they can make money off it.

I knew you were stupid but not this stupid. Please show me any example where any game has the manual as paid DLC.

Not the manual as such, yet, - in this case there is no manual at all, however, soundtracks artworks and such like which were previously included in games, can now be DLC, which, as you pointed out, I may be stupid, but I am able to find these using the simple search bar:
https://www.gog.com/game/little_nightmares_ost
Is one example for sountracks.

https://www.gog.com/game/cayne_deluxe_content
One examplefor artworks/screenshots.

https://www.gog.com/game/earthlock_comic_book_1
For an example of additional documents which used to be goodies on games

In fact manuals appear to be the only thing that isn't pieced up and sold separately (at least I can't remember seeing one) - although a few do seem to not have them at all, even older games where there definately is manuals around:

So basically your statement here is completely wrong:
