GaminggUy45: So would i Bloodlines needs to be on GOG.
A lot of people agree with this. We already have Redemption, and Bloodlines has nearly 10,000 votes on the wishlist.
I think what's holding it back is pricing; staff have said (from what I've read from others) that GOG is opposed to bringing older games for more than 9.99, and of course Bloodlines, albiet from 2004, is still $19.99 everywhere.
So oddly enough afaik it's a pricing issue, not a rights or more complex issue.
Bloodlines is a huge bugfest, though.
Well, it is - if you dont install fan patches, which fix the whole game.

The community support this game gets is simply amazing.

I also would love to buy it on gog, I hope that its only a matter of time untill it gets here.

GaminggUy45: Also note you will have to reinstall the game before applying the newest patch and any mods.
Is this unique to this version of the patch? In the past, you didn't have to re-install the game at all to apply a new version of Wesp's patch, but previous saves were usually broken, so you would have to start a new game.

Well it's usually recommend to install the patch on a clean install.

ShadowWulfe: Bloodlines on GOOOOOOOG!
Oh, that would truly be awesome. :D
DRM-FREE and all - hell yes!!!

What would be amazing is if they can get both the entire Licensed Soundtrack (Chiasm, Genitorturers, Tiamat, etc) & all of Womb Music's Original Soundtrack (the traditional type of score) to this game up.

This should be technically do-able, since the game originally released in some markets with an extra CD that had the soundtrack on it, as well as a music video for Lacuna Coil's "Swamped". Some kind of licensing agreement that allowed them to release that soundtrack CD probably still exists somewhere, so if GOG can get the game, maybe they can negotiate for the soundtrack album rights at the same time.

irishskrapper: I love these patches.
GOG needs to add this game.
The fan community only gets stronger.
I'm surprised no one has tried to reboot/kickstart the franchise.
To my knowledge White Wolf ended the setting with the apocalypse, so no sequels at least. A little disheartening knowing that the MC is dead *again* a few months after the end of the game no matter what. :(

I would buy another VTM game in the same 'vein' as this one in a heartbeat though.
Oh yeah. I was wondering whether they are still making updates for this one. It's starting to piss me off, actually, since I want to finally play the final version of the game. :P

What's funny btw.: I remember a reviewer from some German magazine stating something like "it's an okay RPG with many big flaws - it's fun at times but nobody will remember it in a year or two". :P

There is a VTM MMO in the works. A few years back, White Wolf merged with CCP, the Eve Online guys, and they started work on a Masquerade MMO. A trailer was shown at a Vampire con, probably almost two years ago now, but not much has been seen of the game since then.

My impression was that the MMO was baed off of Vamprie: The Requim, a setting they developed to replace VTM, a reboot of sorts, so not quite the same thing.

That was the rumor, but it was confirmed to be in the Masquerade setting at the same con that showed the trailer.

Ah,that's interesting, I had thought that VTM had been put out to pasture. I guess I'm a bit behind the times :)
Is the "light" version in the same download?
