Hey all, I'm sorry, I just got the information about the urgent delistings:

We need to remove The Silent Age and Hirilun from the catalog TODAY.

I don't have the hour yet, but I will update you here when I have the information. We've already reached out to bring them back; fingers crossed.

UPDATE:

The exact time of the delistings: Today, November 8th, at 10:30 PM UTC. So at least there's so time to grab them for those interested.

Sad, but thankfully I already own both.
Both are still on Steam under a different publisher / self-published. Will GOG try to get them back?

Atleast for those that want em they aren't too much and while I like the art style of the second one... speed trial games aren't my thing nor is point and click games in general like the first game .. or so thats what its store page itself says it is not the tags

it was stated in the announcement post they are reaching out to try getting em back already ..So did you just read to what games are being delisted and stop there ? I admit if it was a edited message I could see why you asked but it wasn't edited in

Pants, I've passed up Silent Age before when on sale. I often try to nab delisted games since discovering the notifications (unless they are abandoned trash as per Age of Histories/Civilisations/Whatever) but I've spent rather a lot on GoG the last couple of weeks so I'll have to skip this... but I guess it's just changing publishers in which case fingers crossed it'll come back.

(and if not, fomo is one thing but my backlog is already massive as it is)
Ohhh, I have Silent Age on my wishlist, hope it get back, or try to do a quick sale, please!
Two More Games Dust The Bite? How Sad But Not Unexpectedddddddddddd? Will Gog Get Them Back Soon? I Hope So? Developer Name Is House on Fire Sounds Appropriate. Wondering What Will Go Next, Very Sad Times This. I Need To Lie Down.

It's from The Witcher 3, the avatars included with the game. If you have the game you can download the avatars from the goodies.

Thanking You For Informations. Very Nice Picture You Have Chosen.
Hey everyone, does anyone know if achievements still show up in Galaxy for delisted games?
For example, Candle was recently delisted, will I still unlock achievements if I play it now?

Good question.
Considering game pages for delisted games do not exist (sub-forums do, though) knowing which games had/have achievements is hard. Just because some have achievements over on EOS, or Steam does not mean they had/have on GoG.

So unless one knows exactly which delisted game had achievements - this is hard to test.
It would be possible to look at gogdb and hope that the assigned tags are correct though, but otherwise...

As far as I can tell - I have no delisted game in my library that simultaneously had/has achievements, so I can't directly test. ;<

You're best positioned to answer that by playing the game. I 100% completed The Silent Age and all traces of it have been wiped from my Games page, Activity Feed and Profile on the site (not my library). I don't even have a profile background available for it, and I'm pretty sure there was one before.
TBH, I'm more concerned about few older "big-name", especially AAA, games showing up than I am most of the delistings.
Why was The Silent Age delisted (it's still on Steam and itch.io)?
Is there a chance it will return?
