Why aren't there logs of what has been updated for many games, especially older ones?
I just checked, I had 33 games updated (I am talking about offline, not client BS), I checked 2 of them, Screamer and Beneath a Steel Sky and neither of them had anything new. Why is that?

Yeah, there have always been many cases like that, hence the thread where people try to keep track.
On the other hand, many recent updates to DOSBox games are changing the Mac version to the 64-bit DOSBox, to run on v.10.15, so there will be no changes to Windows and/or Linux.

Recently some mac installers were updated, before Windows which only reduced file size.

It would be nice to have some info that at least the mac version or linux or whatever changed so that we (offline users) don't have to check every freaking file for our windows (or whatever) installation.
Annoying and I am sure just another way to push the client.

And we have had it be changes just to language localizations before. But I agree, it would be nice to know the reason for any updates so we would know whether we should download the new one or not.
